Comic shoutout this time: Tamberlane by Caytlin “Pixel Prism” Vilbrandt

A very dynamic, very expressive and very charming comic about a clumsy bat who finds a human baby child and learns to take care of it. It’s a simply gorgeous comic, filled with very likeable characters and funny moments on every page. And the bond between bat mother and human daughter is something very touching. Another one of my favourite webcomics, I highly recommend you check it out, especially if you want to see good references for your expressions.

Hope you don’t mind me making a quick plug for a favorite comic of my own. Will definitely check out Tamberlane. The one I linked is called Astral Aves. It’s near the top of my list. When I started reading it, I came in on this page. I have, to this day, never been so confused by a webcomic. But if you read it from the beginning, this page somehow actually makes sense! They have rediculous fun making everything work together just right. Believable world (regardless of its many amazing quirks), interesting art style (famous for ridiculously big hair), and lovable characters who make a habit of breaking all the standard rules of adventuring.
